When he was just a baby Hunter captured a family 
of gofers and presented them to us as his trophies 
thus, earning him the name Captured By The 
Game! Hunter, very much like his daddy Chase, is 
a fun loving boy who enjoys all the attention he 
can get. In April of 2000 both Hunter and Zoë 
received a lot of attention as the brother and 
sister team, handled by Carol Foti, won Best 
Opposite in Sweepstakes, Best In Sweepstakes, 
Winners Dog, Winners Bitch, and Best of Winners 
at the Akita Club of Las Vegas Specialty. The next 
day at the Silver State Kennel Club Hunter won 
Winners Dog and Best of Winners and Zoë won 
Winners Bitch, which completed Zoë's 
championship. The third day Hunter went on 
to win Winners Dog and Best of Winners again, 
which completed his championship. Hunter 
recently entered the ring as a special and just his 
third weekend out won Best In Show, handled 
by Karen Bruno, at the Windward Hawaiian Dog 
Fanciers Show.
